the Lord’s Prayer – How to Pray

the Lord’s Prayer – How to Pray

Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”   He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation.
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory forever and ever.
Amen. It shall be so.

– Traditional Wording

So, we should start and end our prayers with praise sometimes.

    1. Chinkie, Sorry I do not have any sheet music for this arrangement. However, another reader sent me an email to let me know that he has an arrangement of his own which he might be able to make available. He is currently working with a publisher of his piece and is waiting to see how the copyrights are defined. So either check back in a few weeks or just stay tuned to my future posts on this subject.

Thanks for reading my BLOG and contacting me. God’s belssings on your ministry.
