The Butterfly

The Butterfly

A hairy creepy worm

Into a cocoon he squirms

Emerges a beautiful winged creature
He’s a new creation with new features

A new start
A rebirth; the old departs

Like being born again
New man, new women

“I tell you the truth, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” – Jesus (John 3:3)

God didn’t take the caterpillar and pin wings onto it, no, it becomes a new creation. The caterpillar is gone. It is no more. It has now become a butterfly. The old has gone and the new has come. So it is with you.
