Based on Psalm 89 (selected verses)

Level of Difficulty:
The entire congregation can sing “I Could sing of Your Love Forever” or “Who is Like You”.  “Facedown” is best suited for the worship team or praise band.

Rationale for the Song Choices:
1. “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever” takes it’s very title from the opening line in Psalm 89 and captures the spirit behind the first 3 or 4 verses.
2. “Facedown” is based on verses 5 – 8.
3. “Who is LikeYou” is also based on verses 5-8.

Suggested Format:

Musicians softly play the verse or chorus in the background

M: I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever;
C: with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. 
M: I will declare that your love stands firm forever,
C: that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself. 
M: The heavens praise your wonders, 
C: Lord, your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones. 

Sing as follows (depending on your song choice):
“I Could Sing of Your Love Forever” – Sing the Verse and Chorus
Band or Soloists sing: “Facedown” – Sing Verse 2 & Chorus
“Who is Like You” – Sing Verse 1 & Chorus
