M: While we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. – Titus 2:13-14

And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. C: God is our Father. We are his dear children.

M: “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. – John 10:11
C: God is our Shepherd. We are his sheep. He lays down his life for us. We trust His word.

M: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9
C: We are weak. He is strong. We rely on His perfect strength.
