Time With God

Time with God is precious indeed
As you begin each day
Just simply, humbly, fold your hands
And then, begin to pray

It’s not about deep doctrinal knowledge
Though the Word dwells richly within
It’s more about meditation
And focus, as you begin

Time with God is productive
And as you quiet your heart
Open the lines of communication
And then, just start to talk

It’s not about vain repetitions ;
Or in long and lengthy prayer
It’s more about silence & solitude
And in knowing, He’s always there

The above poem was written by Bobby Brown, author of ”Seated Above Looking Below.”
